G&B Line Mechanic Foreperson

An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Foreperson G+B Line Mechanic to join our Maungaturoto team who are working on interesting projects across the wider region.

The role
Reporting to the Supervisor, you’ll walk the safety talk but also be responsible for leading construction team in constructing and maintaining electrical lines to customer requirements. The role will also see you:

- Manage and deliver works safely, positively, effectively and efficiently
- Play a key part in the construction and maintenance of electrical lines to customer requirements
- Provide day to day supervision and promote utilisation and productivity within the team

About you
We're looking for an experienced G+B Line Mechanic with up to date registration and competencies, who has at least a Class 2 driver’s license or HT licence and who is looking to progress into a Foreperson role.

You will need to demonstrate the following:

- Great verbal and written communication skills
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- A great attitude and a willingness to be part of a team- A team player with a great ‘can do’ attitude
- Someone with strong interpersonal skills preferably experience in working in a multi-cultural environment.
