Project Engineer – Electro and Mechanical

Our collaborative approach, working closely with different business units and subcontractors, ensures that our projects are meticulously planned and executed with long-term quality at the forefront.

The Role
As a Project Engineer – Electro and Mechanical, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of our projects. You'll collaborate with our Design and Engineering team to craft and implement integrated engineering solutions that are both pragmatic and practical. Your role will involve considering environmental and contextual factors to optimize the design process, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of our renewable energy projects. You will also:

- Develop and deliver comprehensive engineering packages for renewable energy projects
- Influence and guide best practice engineering processes across all project stages
- Report directly to the Design and Engineering Manager, driving consistency and continual development
- Manage and coach team members to elevate standards and foster a culture of excellence

Who we’re looking for
Ideally you’ll be someone with relevant experience in a similar role with a solid understanding of design, pricing, and job management fundamentals. You’ll also have:

- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with solar energy projects exceeding 500kWp
- Exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written, with a strong command on English
- Proficiency in computer use and confident decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Experience in team management and coaching, guiding team members to achieve higher standards
- Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field
