The role
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be working within a small team  to install Network electrical assets including:

- Install, replace, and repair underground distribution assets
- Jointing and termination of distribution assets up to and including 22kV
- Testing and commissioning of 400V distribution installations

About you
To be considered for this role you’ll need to have:

- Relevant Cable Jointing qualification within the field either NZ or international
- Valid class 1 Drivers Licence
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a cable jointer  
- Preference will be given to candidates that either hold EWRB registration as a Cable Jointer or  have an EWRB limited Cable Jointer Licence
- Sound technical knowledge of cables and local network systems, procedures and standards
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- A team player and ‘can do’ attitude with strong interpersonal skills working in a multi-cultural environment
