About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to support the maintenance of high-voltage (HV) electrical equipment across the Vector network. Based in Auckland, you’ll be working in a substation environment ensuring equipment is safe, functional, and compliant, playing a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure for our communities.

- Conducting prescribed HV electrical work in substations (11kV–110kV)
- Accurately scoping jobs and planning outages using the HVSPEC process
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and reporting
- Supporting operational delivery through effective problem-solving and quality workmanship
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- Rotating shift schedule and occasional weekend work

About You:
- An Electrical fitter with HV maintenance, Vector network knowledge, and HV switching experience would be an advantage
- A good knowledge around HV testing , instruments and Vector standards
- Full EWRB registration with practicing licence
- A full driver’s license with an ability to tow and back a trailer
- Flexible and able to work a rotating shift schedule including weekend work
- A team player who uses their initiative
- Honest hard working , reliable, takes pride in what they do and completes works to a high standard
- Be willing to learn new tasks
- Must have good communication and customer service skills
