Recruitment Advisor – Parental Leave Cover

Northpower is offering a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to cover parental leave for a creative recruitment professional to join our close-knit team of four. If you enjoy thinking outside the box and thrive on delivering results, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!

The Role:
You’ll manage the full recruitment process from start to finish, working closely with hiring managers to find the best talent for our Central North Island depots and National Cables Team.

- Write creative job ads and shortlist candidates
- Travel to depots to build strong relationships and engage with managers
- Facilitate interviews and support managers with selection
- Attend recruitment events to boost brand visibility and awareness
- Develop sourcing strategies that align with our business needs
- Negotiate offers and complete pre-employment checks
- Use sourcing channels like LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, and social media to build a strong talent pipeline
- Represent Northpower at recruitment events and boost our employer brand through social media

About You:
To succeed in this role, you'll need at least 3 years of recruitment experience, ideally in a fast-paced business.

- Proven experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search, and social media for candidate sourcing
- Ability to travel for day trips to depots and recruitment events
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle shifting priorities and urgency
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels
- A creative, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to influence and challenge the status quo
- Ability to stay focused under pressure, maintaining high productivity across various tasks
