Network Access and Op Quality Lead

The Role:
This role ensures that employees and contractors have the necessary competencies to access, work around and operate our electricity network safely. This role uses excellent communication and an inclusive, collaborative style to build relationships across the industry, seeking the best industry outcomes.

 The role facilitates the internal and external requirements associated with Network Operations and Access Standards. The role will also determine the training needs for Network staff and carry out assessments where required. This role provides broader support across the Operations team, including conducting investigations, and providing cross functional support for fault and event management.

- Ensure network access and operational standards are up to date and compliant.
- Develop and deliver training programs for Northpower Network staff.
- Audit and assess competency levels of employees and contractors.
- Support incident investigations and event management.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners.

About you:
- 10+ years in the Electricity Supply industry.
- Strong knowledge of Transmission and Distribution systems.
- Qualifications in assessment, training, and investigation (4098, 11551, 11552, ICAM).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A safety-first mindset with a passion for quality assurance.
