The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, as a Fibre jointer you
will engage daily, in a variety of tasks including commercial customer connections, network
extensions, maintenance, fault response and fibre blowing.
You’ll also be responsible for the quality of
installation, time management of each install, and attending to administrative
requirements.

About you:
To be successful in this role you’ll need to be an experienced Fibre jointer
with a “can do attitude” and safety mindset. You will be a team player
available for standby duties as required and be flexible to work afterhours during
weekends and weeknights on short notice.
You will also have:
- NZ
Certificate in Telecommunications with strand in Optical Fibre Network - Level
3 or Equivalent ( essential)
- Demonstrated experience in Conventional and Micro fibre
- NZCES Level 2 ( or equivalent) &
WTC 1 with unit standards will be advantageous
- Experience in NZ Telecom industry, structural cabling and SCADA will be
beneficial
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Enjoy working in team environments, yet able to work self-directed
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaborative working relations in a multi-cultural environment
