The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical management and delivery of high-voltage substation works.
You will ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in all technical and operational aspects of the projects.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the technical management and execution of high-voltage substation works.
• Scope, plan, and provide technical support for all works as required.
• Ensure plant and equipment are compliant, in good working order, and fit for purpose.
• Provide support in estimating works, ensuring accurate pricing and resource allocation.
• Mentor and guide team members to uphold high standards of performance, safety, and quality.
• Take responsibility for the safety of yourself, your team, and the public, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.

About You:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual with a passion for technical excellence.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A relevant trade qualification (Diploma or NZCE or equivalent)
• A current practising licence (as required)
• Proven technical experience in high-voltage substation environments
• Ability to organise and plan workloads to meet project timelines and goals
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in the electricity industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and lead by example
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• A current NZ driver’s licence
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written
