Project Administrator

Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional with a passion for renewable energy? Northpower’s Renewables division is seeking a dedicated Project Administrator to join our small, dynamic team. We are on a mission to invest in and develop a pipeline of solar generation projects over the next 5-7 years. We work closely with Service Providers, Contractors and Northpower Teams to bring our solar farms to life and connect them seamlessly to our network.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Manager – Strategy & Renewables, the Project Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our ambitious projects. This is a permanent, part-time role offering around 15 hr/week (this may possibly increase). Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Process electricity reconciliation to ensure revenue and cost values are calculated correctly. 
- Processing and tracking purchase orders and work packages ensuring financial details are meticulously organized.
- Monitoring and managing work packages and actions to ensure all project tasks are completed efficiently.
- Preparing clear and concise reports to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned with the programme.
- Assisting with work scopes and product specifications for key equipment, facilitating smooth interactions with service providers and suppliers.
-Coordinate meetings and workshops. Develop information and data sets and prepare agendas and minutes.

Who we’re looking for

A Project Administrator with a minimum of 5+ years of administrative experience, preferably with a focus on finance and/or project management. You will also have the following:
- Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with financial systems and SharePoint
- Flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Self lead and can work independently, but also with a small team
