Fixed Term Role (Ending November 2026):
We're looking for an Accounts Manager to lead and support the day-to-day operations of our AP function and associated finance activities, while helping drive accuracy, performance, and innovation.

- Accounts Payable Leadership: Manage the AP team, ensure timely reconciliations and payment runs, resolve discrepancies, and drive team performance.
- Financial Operations: Oversee P-card processes, bank receipting, customer AR records, collections, and service billing.
- System & Process Ownership: Act as a Coupa system admin/super user, lead process documentation, ensure data accuracy and integration between platforms.
- Month-End & Reporting: Handle month-end processes, prepare AR/AP aging reports, assist with GST accuracy and audit documentation, and generate weekly/monthly reports.
- People Leadership: Supervise team performance, delegate tasks, provide feedback, and support employee development aligned with Northpower’s values.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and contribute to internal audits and quality assurance.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance: Promote safe working practices and ensure 100% compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

About You:
- Certificate in accounting principles
- 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting or finance environment
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, AP/AR processes, and reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and team leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation and a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with systems like Coupa and JDE (advantageous)
