Electrical Engineer Intern

We’re looking for a motivated Electrical Engineering intern to join at Northpower on a three months fixed term contract. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects that support the design, analysis, and maintenance of our electrical distribution systems.

Role Responsibilities:

-Assist in the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical distribution systems

-Support field operations and maintenance teams with technical insights

-Contribute to projects involving grid modernization, renewable integration, and smart metering

-Perform data analysis and reporting to improve system performance

-Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams

Experience:

-Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Familiarity with power systems, circuit analysis, and electrical safety standards

-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

-Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world energy challenges
