About the Role:
We have an exciting 5 month fixed-term opportunity for a Senior People &
Capability Partner to cover parental leave and support our Auckland operations
from our East Tamaki depot.
You’ll help deliver the Northpower People Plan for our
Energy Services division, partnering closely with leaders to align people
processes, programmes, and systems with business goals.
This role suits an HR professional with broad generalist
experience, including union and employment relations, who is ready to step into
an entry-level leadership role. You’ll lead P&C delivery for our Auckland
operations and manage one direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the delivery of P&C continuous improvement initiatives
- Increase & enhance P&C's contribution & presence to the wider business
- Support P&C Delivery team and managers on solving ER issues
- Aid Recruitment partner regarding the end-to-end recruitment process
- Coordinating and producing HR reports and metrics on behalf of HR team
- Assisting in the delivery of communications to the Auckland Energy Services Team and wider business
About You:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritise effectively, and stay resilient
- Confident communicating with people at all levels of the business, including frontline teams
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Essential experience in a generalist HR or recruitment role
- A tertiary qualification in HR is desirable
