2026 Annual Report now live
Northpower’s 2026 Annual Report is now available, highlighting a year of strong delivery, investment and impact across the communities we serve.
This year’s report showcases the incredible mahi delivered over the past 12 months, alongside an overview of our FY26 financial performance. From strengthening critical infrastructure to progressing renewable energy and supporting customers, our focus has remained on enabling growth and building a more resilient future.
The report continues our predominantly online approach, bringing together a collection of articles and case studies that share the stories behind our work. With more than 50 stories featured, it captures the breadth of activity across the business, from upgrading key Northland substations and delivering the Auckland Airport power upgrade, to welcoming Connell Contractors to the Northpower Group.
The report highlights include:
- $527m local infrastructure asset value
- the investment in the construction of Puna Komaru solar farm in Maungatapere, delivering an 18MW capacity community owned asset
- $980k invested in capability training and development for our people
- $17.4m in distributions and discounts for our electricity consumers.
Together, these stories reflect the dedication of our people, the strength of our partnerships, and the scale of work underway to support electrification and regional development.
