Appointment of Executive General Manager – Digital
Northpower is pleased to announce the appointment of Ed Overy as Executive General Manager – Digital, responsible for Northpower’s Digital teams, and leading our digital vision.
Ed joins a strong executive line-up led by Chief Executive, Andrew McLeod, who commented that “Ed’s depth of experience in leading digital strategy makes him an exceptional fit for Northpower. His experience will be invaluable as we continue to evolve and expand our business to meet the needs of the changing energy landscape.”
Ed will be joining Northpower in June. He brings deep executive leadership experience, including Chief Information Officer roles at Airways and KiwiRail.

Northpower employs more than 1,300 people responsible for electricity and high-speed fibre networks in the Whangarei and Kaipara districts, and also provides energy construction services across the North Island.
