Keen to work with us?
To ensure everyone is kept safe, only contractors who have gone through our vetting process can work on or near (within four meters) of the Northpower network. This could be works as part of your own business, your customers or a local council.
This can include work such as:
- connecting assets to the network – for example streetlighting and LV service connections
- constructing electricity assets where we’ll be taking over ownership and maintenance of these assets (also known as Customer Initiated Works (CIW)
- undertaking (unsupervised) routine works that require permission from us to work within four metres of Northpower’s electricity network – for example streetlight maintenance and vegetation trimming.
