Faultperson

The Role
As a Faultperson you will carry out repairs and HV switching on the electricity distribution network, test and earth equipment, and provide services for faults, investigates, isolates and restores power.

We are looking for someone who treats safety as a priority and has great team ethics. Obviously you will have the capacity to be part of our faults standby roster which includes evenings and weekends. This role will involve liaising with the public so your customer service skills will be on form. This is your opportunity to be part of a tight knit professional team in our most active time of year.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking at filling multiple roles within the faults team. Hence seeking an experienced Faultperson with an excellent safety record. You will need to demonstrate the following:

- A minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrician, Line Mechanic or Cable Jointer. Experience with remedial/fault work including switching is desirable
- Valid Driver’s Licence
-Ability to work on the afterhours faults roster
-Great verbal and written communication skills
-A great attitude and a willingness to be part of a team
