About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Cable Jointer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll install, repair and maintain underground electricity distribution assets, including cable jointing and terminations up to 33kV. Based on-site, your work will help keep the network running safely and efficiently, while delivering great service to our clients and communities.

- Install and repair underground electricity distribution assets
- Joint cables up to and including 33kV (paper-insulated and polymeric)
- Excavate and reinstate sites to specification
- Ensure all tasks meet operational, regulatory and customer requirements
- Maintain a high standard of safety and environmental compliance
- Report issues and contribute to process improvements

About You:
- NZ Electrical Registration (EWRB) and a current practicing licence
- Full Class 2 NZ Driver Licence
- 2+ years of post-qualification jointing experience
- Solid understanding of safety and compliance in electrical environments
- Excavation experience and ability to problem-solve on the job
- A team player mindset with a proactive attitude
