The Role:
We are looking for an Electrical Fitter / Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, constructing, maintaining, and repairing LV and HV electrical equipment and systems. This position will give you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and varied environment across the electricity distribution, commercial, and industrial market sectors.
In this role, you will:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems in electricity distribution, commercial, and industrial networks.
- Joint and terminate LV cables (up to and including 1kV) and assemble electrical panels, junction boxes, ring main units, switchgear, - and transformers.
- Carry out electrical testing and use approved methods to ensure systems are in safe working condition.
- Perform network switching, isolating equipment to carry out maintenance or restore service when competent to do so.
- Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental requirements are met while delivering excellent service to our customers.
- Contribute to the team’s performance, ensuring work is done efficiently and to high standards.

About You:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter/Electrician with a passion for safety and delivering high-quality work.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Engineering Theory and Practice (Level 4) or equivalent, or New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Trade (Level 4)
- NZ Electrical Registration (EWRB) in Electrical Supply (or equivalent)
- Experience working with LV and HV electrical distribution systems
- Knowledge of health and safety, environmental legislation, and industry standards
- A commitment to working safely and efficiently while upholding high standards of performance
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- A current NZ Driver’s licence
