With our supercharged fibre network we’re connecting Northland to the world. Our unrelenting commitment to maximising fibre access is driving productivity, lifting wages and creating job opportunities in Northland.
Fibre speed and access is as critical as our electrical infrastructure.
Our focus is to deliver world class fibre connectivity to the homes and businesses across the Whangārei and Kaipara districts. For us the starting point was winning the contract with the Government to build the Whangārei ultra-fast broadband network, which was completed in May 2014. At this time the network passed 22,700 end users and had the highest uptake levels among New Zealand UFB networks.
Reaching over 40,000 Northlanders
We have since progressively extended the network putting fibre within the reach of more than 40,000 Northlanders. We pride ourselves on innovation, partnering with globally renowned technology companies such as Calix to deliver fibre infrastructure.
