Management Accountant

About the role:
We’re looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join our Contracting Division in Whangarei. In this key role, you’ll report to the Commercial Manager and work closely with Operations team to deliver insights that drive performance and strategic decision-making.

You’ll be responsible for month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing analysis, ensuring our financials stay accurate, timely, and aligned with business goals.

- Lead month-end reporting, journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and commercial reporting
- Manage accounts receivable and capital expenditure reporting
- Partner with managers across operations, delivery, and commercial teams
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to ad hoc financial projects

About you:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in management accounting
- Strong ERP (JDE preferred) and Excel skills
- Confidence to turn data into actionable insights
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
