The Role:
As an Electrical Fitter working with our Tauranga team, your safety and that of
others around you is your number one priority. You’ll be joining an experienced
team primarily carrying out preventative maintenance and construction on 11kV,
33kV distribution equipment across Tauranga and surrounding areas. Tasks
include circuit breaker maintenance, protection relay testing, earth grid
testing, battery testing, low voltage installations and small project
work. Previous work experience would be an asset but is not
essential. We are looking for persons with solid electrical fundamentals
and a willing attitude to learn new skills.

Experience:
To be considered for this role we’re looking for someone who has solid
electrical experience. Previous Transmission or Distribution experience is
preferred but not necessary as all training is provided. You will need to have
EWRB registration and a current practicing license.
You will need to demonstrate the following:
-Knowledge and experience working in a related industry
-Logical thinking and problem solving ability
-Ability to cope with the physical demands of the job
-Great verbal and written communication skills, with basic technology knowledge
-A strong commitment to health and safety
-A great attitude and a willingness to be part of a team
-Class 1 driver’s license
