We have 1 vacancy in the role of
Distribution Line Mechanic working in Dargaville, Northland. This is full time,
permanent role working Mon – Fri, minimum 40 hours per week plus on call
roster/stand by roster which can include after hours and weekend work.
Hourly rate –$38 - $42.50/hr
About the role:
To ensure the construction and maintenance
of electrical lines to customer and Network requirements are met in a timely,
appropriate and efficient manner.
- Building, servicing and maintaining overhead
electrical lines up to 33kV
- Installing and replacing pole structures and
conductors
- Operating equipment and completing field
documentation
- Supporting performance targets with strong
teamwork and problem-solving
- Ensuring safety, compliance and quality in
every task
About You:
- Similar work experience preferred
- EWRB Registration as a Distribution Line
Mechanic required
- Class 2 Driver's Licence (advantageous)
- Current Driver’s Licence required (Class 1
minimum)
- Experience in overhead lines work preferred
- Great attitude, strong work ethic and
commitment to safety
- Physical capability to handle a hands-on role
