Line Supervisor

Northpower is looking for a motivated Supervisor to lead maintenance projects from planning to completion. You’ll manage teams, oversee contractors, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

-Support project planning, scoping, and execution.

-Supervise and mentor your team, managing workloads and performance.

-Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

-Conduct site visits, risk assessments, and job closeouts.

-Identify opportunities for process improvements and continuous learning.

Skills & Experience
-Proven supervisory experience in LV/HV distribution and zone substations.

-Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

-Ability to organise, plan, and self-manage workload effectively.

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong customer focus.

-National Certificate in Electricity Supply (NCES) – Line Mechanic Distribution Level 4 or Live Work Level 5, or National Certificate in Electrical Engineering Level 4, or equivalent qualification.

-Knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, and Legislative requirements, including applicable sections of the Safety Manual – Electricity Industry (SM‑EI).

HT (Heavy Traffic) Licence – Class 2 or Class 4 (desirable).
