Trainee Electrical Fitter – Transmission

We’re on the hunt for a driven and reliable Trainee Electrical Fitter to join our Transmission Substation team. This is your chance to get hands-on, earn while you learn, and work toward becoming a fully qualified Electrical fitter.

Role Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain practical experience in the field, working alongside skilled professionals to develop your electrical fitting skills.
-Assist with electrical fitting and maintenance work under supervision
-Learn to work safely on transmission and network equipment
-Complete accurate job records and reporting
-Take ownership of your work and build confidence on the tools
-Identify problems and help deliver practical solutions on-site

About You:
You don’t need years of experience attitude is everything.
-You’re safety-focused and take responsibility seriously
-You’re a team player who communicates well
-You enjoy hands-on, physical work
-You’re a problem solver who can think logically
-You’re motivated to complete your electrical qualification

 Experience:
-Full Driver’s Licence
-Trainee Limited Certificate
-Commitment to completing all training required for Electrical Registration & Practising Licence
- Strong communication skills with your team and customers
