About the Role
We are looking for an organised and motivated Project Manager – Minor Works to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of minor works projects from initial design and pricing through to delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Working closely with customers, field crews, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering electricity network projects while maintaining strong customer relationships and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Manager – Minor Works, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of electricity distribution projects, from initial design and estimating through to construction, financial close-out, and project completion. You will prepare and review project designs, estimates, scopes, schedules, and comprehensive work packs, ensuring all required site information, utility plans, Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Corridor Access Requests (CARs), photographs, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate. Working closely with customers, field crews, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you will coordinate resources, manage customer expectations, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements. The role includes monitoring project costs, managing financial performance and profitability, obtaining and evaluating subcontractor pricing, overseeing contractor performance, and completing project reconciliations. You will design and manage a range of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electricity network projects, including overhead and underground services, network reinforcements, new supply connections, underground conversions, customer-funded works, and new subdivision electricity reticulation. You will also ensure all estimates, designs, and project proposals undergo appropriate peer review before submission to maintain quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Experience managing infrastructure, utilities, or electricity distribution projects.
- Knowledge of HV and LV electricity network design and construction.
- Strong commercial and financial management skills.
- Experience preparing project estimates and pricing.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- A commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- A relevant qualification in electrical engineering, project management, or a related discipline is desirable.
